Schiff’s base vanillin thiourea [email protected] is a new sorbent used for removal of Br.G, To.B and Tr.B dyes. the presence of acid sites make [email protected] has ability for removal of basic cationic dyes (Br.G, To.B) and azo dye (Tr.B).The best condition for removal of Br.G (60 min, at pH 3-11), To.B (30min, at pH 3-11) and Tr.B (15 min, at pH 3-11). Kinetics and equilibrium were applied for adsorption of dyes on the surface of adsorbent, it confirmed physical dominated as adsorption type, besides diffusion of Br.G is faster than To.B and Tr.B. The thermodynamic parameters (?G° , ?H° , ?S°) were revealed spontaneous adsorption process with more randomness of molecules in Br.G and less for To.B, Tr.B. elevation of temperature of brilliant green solution make amount of dye adsorbed increase (endothermic sorption process), On the contrary, toluidine blue and trypan blue is exothermic process.
