I would like to live in a mixed economic system

I would like to live in a mixed economic system. A mixed economy is an economic system in which both the Market and state government direct the economy, Most mixed economies can be described as market economies with strong oversight and government provision of goods.
A mixed economic system is just like it sounds, but it refers to a mixture of a free market and command economy. Many variations exist, with some mixed economies being mostly free markets and others being strongly controlled by the government. In the most common types of mixed economies, the market is more or less free of government ownership except for a few key areas. Which I would be fine with because you are giving up a little bit of freedom for most things to be free.
Moving back to the last paragraph. These areas that are mostly free of government oversight are usually not the resources that a command economy controls. Instead, as in America they are the government programs such as education, transportation, USPS, etc. While all of these industries also exist in the private sector in America, this is not always the case for a mixed economy.
While a mixed economy can lead to incredible results America being the obvious example, it can also suffer from downfalls found in other economies. For example the last hundred years or so, America has seen a rise in government power. Not just in imposing laws and regulations, but in actually gaining control, becoming more difficult to access while simultaneously becoming less flexible. This is a common tendency of mixed economies.
Like I said I would like to live in a mixed economic system. With some of the benefits like the government having ownership except for a few key areas, and they would have more control of transportation, USPS, etc
